Doodle Families

First class students and parents have been offered an amazing opportunity. Doodle families is a new literacy programme aimed at offering children and parents a space to engage with literacy in a fun way, This programme will run in our school for eight weeks starting from the 10th of December. Parents are invited in every Tuesday from 1.30-2.30 to get some tips and tricks to help their child with reading, writing and oral language at home. The children then get the chance to attend the after school club on Thursdays from 2.30-3.45. During this time they'll engage with literacy through fun games and activities. This is a government funded programme meaning that no payment is required. If parents aren't available to attend the Tuesday sessions, grandparents are welcome to take part alternatively. If you are interested in signing up or would like to learn more about the programme please contact Miss Haugh (Room 6). Below is a link to some frequently asked questions.
