Wow! What an amazing bunch of Junior Engineers we have in the Salesian Primary School!! Last week we celebrated Engineers Week and we were blown away by the children's creativity, problem solving skills and ability to work as part of a team. Classes were challenged to 'think like an engineer' during our whole school STEMathon, where the children engaged in various STEM Challenges. The school was bustling with activity between engineers visits, problem solving with our new BeeBots and design and make activities in our Science Room. Learning is such fun 😀

A huge thank you to Niall Mullane (Adare Iron Works), Marie Ryan (Architectural Technologist), Andy Potter (Dell), Emma Collins (Intel), Gleeyson Pinto (Modular) and Eberhard Mayerhofer (UL) who kindly volunteered their time to speak to the children about engineering and problem solving in their workplace 👏👏
