Summer News

The staff and pupils of Salesian Primary School are very proud of our Salesian pupils who donated €1,000 to support Ukrainian families in our community earlier this summer. Some of our Salesian pupils along with their family and friends in the local community wanted to do something to help all of the Ukrainians they had noticed coming to their area in recent times. They decided to make bracelets and sold them in their neighbourhood, donating the profits to the Red Cross and a local charity helping Ukranians in Limerick. It is wonderful to see the Salesian ethos of "loving kindness" at the heart of this wonderful "act of kindness". A very well done to all involved.

Another proud moment for us all this summer was watching one of our very talented first class pupils performing on "Up for the Match" ahead of the All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship last month. Toviyah absolutely rocked the performance, giving it socks on the night. She is a true super star and we have no doubt that we will be seeing this young lady on our screens again at some stage in the future. What a fantastic performance Toviyah! Well done!
