About our school
The Salesian Primary School is a Catholic School in the Salesian tradition. It caters for boys and girls from Junior Infants to First class and it caters for girls only from Second Class to Sixth Class.
We belong to a vast network of Salesian Schools spanning the globe and originally founded by St. John Bosco for the education of young people.
Our school is an inclusive school and caters for children of all abilities. In March 2018, there were a total of 27 Teachers on the Staff including the Principal, 18 class teachers and 8 SEN (Learning Support/Resource/EAL) Teachers. Four Special Needs Assistants were assigned to the school by the Department of Education and Science to enable the inclusion and support of children with Special Educational Needs.
